"....Focus Minerals has too looked to rapidly expand to make the most of the increasing interest in gold and recently made a bid for Crescent Gold. Chief executive Campbell Baird said he was excited about the large-scale, open pit mining prospects Crescent would bring to Focus.
?In 2008 we were at 17,000 ounces per annum and in 2011 it is about where will we go from here,? he said. ?There is significant growth opportunities for us.?
