Not going to get into an in depth discussion on an internet forum. My comment was they are cheap now on a free cashflow basis compared to peers. If they overpaid for tropicana (which I think they did), it's not material if the company is cheap now or not. It got punished to a point where the new entity is 'cheap', even allowing for hedge book, tropicana, the possibility mcphillamys doesn't get the go ahead etc.
They have made poor board decisions in the past but to carry your argument further they would still be a bad buy if the share price was 10‰ of what it is now based on those points.
