A question was asked after Jake’s presentation about the pumped hydro. Jake said we are not in the business of being a power operator. Jake said we are taking a 50% stake and the board will decide to either sell the business or return a shareholding in the pumped hydro back to shareholders.
My bet is the board will sell the business and return a massive extraordinary dividend back to shareholders. I believe this should be commissioned in 2028 if all goes to plan.
