I just don't understand why they don't just fess up and say.... Duketon North is going to shut within the next 2 years.
I mean.... they are 'saying' it, but... not in plain English. Production looks to drop anywhere from 55-85k within the next 2 years.
McPhils... FID likely 10 months time. Strangely. timed to fit in with the hedges running off?
Looking forward to seeing what a 7mtpa operation is going to cost in NSW.
Perhaps RRL with have more luck with exploration in the Duketon area in coming years, as there is always the potential for a decent discovery, though of course... and it's been said many times... if only they had focused on drilling a decade ago.
How cheap can RRL go... getting closer and closer to what they paid for their 30% share of Tropicana.
