You have a good point - very good. I do not consider people who have discovered gold at this time to be dumb, indeed a cut above. They have had to read between the lines and seek the truth and this is not easy.
The condition called 'dumb' is really, in effect - 'not know' as you state. I forgive those that voted down my work, for they either don't know or disagree.
The current sentiment is exactly as you expect because of the share price.
