Wonder if it is a counter bid for DCN. If they have a tilt at that one, they would have had to have lined up a number of discussions with high grade stranded assets in the area.
Some similarities with Mt Magnet and Edna May takeovers. It would be highly unpopular at the time, however long run has not been too bad historically with the high grade ore truck in.
