Well... I have to repost this, as the above has such a glaring mistake I am squirming in my boots, I meant Eridanus open pit.... not stupid Edna May... arg.

Well, SPR holdings has been upgrades to an orange dot, first time I believe RMS have ever done that....
To be fare, by early 2025, 3 of the dots and Edna May will disappear.



For now, it's all about Eridanus, as MZ has decided to share a little more color on it's potential.




The math is quite simple. 2mtpa of ore from the expanded Eridanus open pit, will fill Mt Magnet (well... actually more than fill it at it's current throughput, so the plant will have to be upgraded, or..... with the benefit of SPRs plant, any excess can go up the road. 1.2-1.8g/t ore is still going to be incredibly profitable to truck just 70km).

That of course excludes all of the Cue ore, U/G ore from Galaxy U/G and other potential sources of ore (Hill 50 U/G, other open pits etc).

In fact, I will go further and say.... as above, the current mine plan already has the plant running at 100% capacity, even if you upgrade the plant to 3mtpa like MZ has hinted at, that still leaves around 800ktpa just from the Eridanus pit. Waaaay too much more for Mt Magnet (a good problem to have).

I guess I am just going to keep repeating myself... the logic of a tie up is truly compelling... but of course, big Ego's are everywhere and nothing is guaranteed. Will be interesting to see if either MZ or SPRs MD mention anything or try incredibly hard to say nothing!
