Nothing personal but most don't simply understand how big a deal it is mining bulk high grade stopes. We are talking about enormous profit margins. Cash costs will be approx 1.6gt (approximate expected reserve cutoff grade). At 7gt reserve grade, that'll be an operating profit margin of about 5.4gt. That's $650 per ton operating cash flow at today's gold price. Now times $650 by 1.3 million tons of dirt processed. We are talking Never Never and Peeper generating operating cashflows of over 800 million annually at today's gold price.
We can see why MZ wants to take SL out for coffee.
