Hey M! FC add an additional variable by accounting for H2O; yet TGC is the more appropriate measure of graphite content head grade as it focuses on both organic and inorganic carbon in determining the TGC value. TGC is Total Carbon - (Organic Carbon + Inorganic Carbon).
TGC is used incorrectly when reporting purity of flake graphite concentrate and is NON-INDUSTRY standard; LOI (Loss on Ignition) is the accepted industry standard whether the purity is reported as 72% LOI or 99.9995% LOI.
