Obviously you have forgotten about Torrens, the reason why BHP took over WMC was due to Olympic Dam. Torrens and Olympic Dam were both drilled by WMC back in the 1970's.
BHP is trying to buy OZL for copper.
How many other independant copper producers in Australia?
AIS is one of very few copper producers in Australia, and whilst AIS is not of interest to BHP for Tritton, Torrens is another matter.
Investors will eventually realise this.
