That is how I understand it to , especially with processes to increasing throughput through the autoclaves by having lower residency time for the same recoveries .
I would think that would mean smaller sized autoclaves for the same tonnage per annum so less capital intensity per tonne of Ni produced .
Guys doing the metallurgy do seem to think laterally , although using unproven tech can sometimes backfire when upscaled from a pilot plant scale ie anaconda .
