The whole reason Digicel was an early mover was that energy costs in the Caribbean are astronomic - many islands burn oil for energy
Therefore, it followed, that demand for Ohm would be incredibly high - compared to other regions
Even in this fantastic environment - Digicel found sales incredibly hard/slow - the Digicel guy said as much when he came to Sydney with DM
So blaming Digicel for this is misplaced - the simple truth is Ohm is a tough sell - that theme can be witnessed in countless other situations - its not an accident Ingram have shelved all efforts to sell
The idea that other groups can jump into Digicel's place and have success is a massive stretch
BUD needs another pivot - lets hope the acquisition is 4th time lucky
