I have met many very smart people who have made terrible finanical decisions.
I have a family member who has first class honours in Chemical Engineering, make one of the best home brews around, shithouse with his cash though. Go figure.
Wish I'd taken the .105 and washed my hands of this, only some will make money out of this and IMO the shareholder are way down on the list.
