Amazing to see the negotiation come to fruition. Lots of credit goes to the team and Nina for wrapping this up. This is just the start. Quite notably the partnership only includes FSGS and not other indications. This will be key for the development of DKD in the future.
Would love to know what the trigger event is for the rest of the milestones but I also assume that this will depend on trials succeeding. My guess is this will definitely be a more back-ended deal with March/April 2024 still remaining as the make or break for Dimerix. Nevertheless, this deal is no short feat. The upfronts are just c. $10.8m but this is nearly 50% of our market cap!
