for FSGS, extending ones life by a year is a big deal, side effect of the drug may not kick in within that timeline....

just highlighting, the commercial benifits and protections of "orphan status" only applies to fsgs...not the main deal...

i await feedback from Doc and those in the medical field to explain if the likes of the FDA take the results of FSGS will fast track any approval of the main prize....for me this answer is years away and say the course foes not alter.
