I'm not "suggesting" the analyst writes a report to send out to their own clients recommending they buy while the firm is selling, I'm telling you that that is absolutely what happens. I've known this to be the case on many occasions. Also, the "ASIC would have a field day" line is just a myth. I know MANY people that have given ASIC real, cold, hard evidence of malfeasance and ASIC have done nothing at all on many occasions. ASIC are hopeless (I'd like to use another word). Take broker reports with a pinch of salt
