My understanding is there is enough gold intercepts on the fringe of the magnetite iron resource, so initially they will try and dig up the iron ore that is not near these known intercepts.
The latest gold results will verify this further as they feel that there is more gold outside the current known iron ore resource.
Of course if they see visible gold i would expect them to separate it from the tailings later.
I think the gold potential has been underestimated due to the focus on the iron ore but if the next results are anything like the intercepts so far, then the bonus for TRF could be bigger than first thought.
