DIRECTOR: AIR: Air New Zealand director appointment
Air New Zealand announces the appointment of Linda Jenkinson as a director of
the company with effect from 1 June 2014.
"We are looking forward to working with Linda once she joins our Board," said
Air New Zealand's Chair, Tony Carter. "She has a significant amount of
international business experience, which will be a great addition to the Air
New Zealand Board."
Currently living in San Francisco and Sydney, Linda is the Chair and
Co-Founder of LesConcierges Inc., a San Francisco headquartered provider of
global concierge services and solutions that supports major loyalty
programmes for many of the world's leading customer facing businesses.
Linda is an alumni of Massey University and The Wharton School, University of
Pennsylvania.
She was the 2014 recipient of Massey University's Sir Geoffrey Peren Award,
which recognises a graduate who has reached the highest level of achievement
in business or professional life, or who has been of significant service to
the University, community or nation.
Most recently Linda was named by the San Francisco Business Times as one of
the most influential women in the Bay Area.
Linda will replace Dr Jim Fox, who has advised the Board he intends to retire
as a Director with effect from 1 August 2014.
Linda is currently a member of the Global Women Trust Advisory Board, a
director of Massey University US Foundation and a director of TheGrid.
