Air New Zealand Limited wishes to announce that, pursuant to NZX Listing
Rules 3.3.2 and 3.3.3(b), the Board has determined both Linda Jenkinson and
Jonathan Mason are Independent Directors.  In addition, Air New Zealand
Limited notes that Dr Jim Fox intends to resign as a Director with effect
from 31 August 2014, later than the date of 1 August 2014 which was
previously announced.
