That's an interesting take. As I read it, the announcement makes several mentions of the 'Combination Compounds' one of which is the sleep apnea drug.
The announcement also explicitly mentions 'research success in the Combination Compounds'. Nothing to indicate trial results didn't meet expectations, or that the company's focus is moving away from the Combination Compounds.
