MW is not in the game to be on the board of a company long term. He also wouldn't jump ship if the company was in trouble. He puts deals together and hunts out potential growth businesses and links them with listed shells to float on the market.
Don't you think the replacement has a CV and background more suited to the overall strategy of what Integer are trying to achieve? Someone with skills and experience with finance and accounting operations will be more beneficial for IAM then MW who has his hands tied up with multiple shells and acquisitions.
Whether or not the market sees it as a good move we will see tomorrow. But the market ebbs and flows and the reality of this new appointment being a smart move forward for IAM will be realised in time.
