It is a large market globally, dental implants certainly (you don’t really want unless truly important for you functionally for your life inc if a front tooth, need good periodontal health and hygiene with no important risk factors )
Bone ‘regeneration’ or augmentation- can be good at time oral surgery, although with time efficacy longterm is far less sure & proven.
Though is good and legitimate as important augmentation for success and healing also in large number of cases.

Personally I applaud danpech for not performing any of these use surgeries- if justified is the domain really more for specialist Prosthodontists, Oral & MaxFac Surgeons where bony removal with complex removals and oral surgery & notably also in treatment of gross trauma & medical treatment cases which not infrequent , and also esp for Periodontists particularly. (Autologous bone is also frequently utilised. )
Or general dentists with special interest pursuing education and focus in oral surgical cases, perio, pros /implants.
Dental Specialists - always in best interests of the patient to be referred in complex cases and if significant medical histories.

Registered- worn out from & hoping to stay non- practicing after over 3 decades service, just over 4 decades now since started studies.

No1 thing is a good and caring clinician doing as is in best interests of their patients, maintaining excellent continuing education, using good quality materials as relevant.
