Hi Atomic Watchers,
Very positive news today for the Company, and a clear indication that the Board is focussed on growth and coal.
The new Board appointments add a substantial amount of international coal mining experience and corporate finance expertise.
The appointment of Gordon McCormack as Operations Manager for the Tanzanian coal projects will also bring greater day to day focus on bringing Ngaka into production quickly.
Selling the uranium assets and entering into a new JV to develop a lignite mine-mouth power generation project in an ASEAN country are strong evidence of the Board's focus on developing coal assets.
Former MD Clinton Cain is staying on in a consultancy role for a few months to assist with the transition and Graeme Robertson will fill in as interim MD until a new MD/ COO can be appointed.
FYI- I manage investor and media relations for ATQ.
