BrainChip Announces the Appointment of Julie H. Stein to the Board of Directors

BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN) (“BrainChip” or “the Company”), a leading developer
of software and hardware accelerated solutions for Advanced Artificial Intelligence and
Machine Learning applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie H. Stein
to the Company's Board of Directors.

Mick Bolto, Chairman of the Board of Directors commented: "Ms. Stein brings
experience in capital markets, fundraising and innovative thought leadership in branding
and marketing to the BrainChip Board of Directors. Her experience at major investment
banking firms, such as Goldman Sachs and Salomon Brothers, coupled with her
experience over a 20‐year period as an entrepreneur building a highly successful
enterprise in the San Francisco Bay Area is invaluable to the Company as we pursue the
commercialisation of our compelling technology in high growth markets."

Ms Stein began her career at Goldman Sachs in 1981. Subsequently, she joined the
investment banking firm of Salomon Brothers. She co‐founded SKS Investments in 1992
and successfully executed a series of joint ventures with major global institutional
investors. Over the course of her career, Ms. Stein has been involved in the
underwriting, negotiating, structuring and/or placement of financial transactions
aggregating over $10 billion ($US). Ms Stein holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University
of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. She is a National Association
of Corporate Directors (NACD) Leadership Fellow and holds a Certificate from Stanford
University Directors’ College.

Ms. Stein will serve as a Non‐Executive Director and Chair the Company's Audit
Committee.

Non‐Executive Director, Mr Neil Rinaldi has stepped down from the Board by resigning
effective 14 November 2016. BrainChip would like to thank Mr. Rinaldi for his hard
work and dedication to the Company and his considerable contribution over the past
three and a half years.
