For those who couldn't attend the EGM on the 13th, I'm told that it was fairly uneventful. The former directors didn't bother turning up. Did we expect anything less from them?
A lawyer from McCullough Robertson was there representing JBL.
I'm told that Stephen Matthews from Ramcap was in attendance and even shook hands with one of the new directors to congratulate him. All things considered I think that was pretty good sportsmanship. The former directors could learn something from Mr Matthews.
The new directors answered a number of questions from shareholders. No miracles promised - but the new directors will do the best they can with what the pirates have left them to work with. I think everyone is eagerly waiting to hear what the forensic accountant has to say.
