Whilst I hate the whole rort of issuing 'incentive' options and shares on principle (massive pay cheques way above most other professions should be incentive enough to do your absolute best at all times) I actually don't hate this as much as usual. They at least included a strike clause that the shares have to much more than double from the levels they were trading at.

As Mkr pointed out, most of us would be pretty happy to see the shares back over 3.00, albeit only partially restoring things to where they were before management stuffed it.

The fact that management are tying their greedy grab to a huge resurgence in the share price is what has caused the big spike up today in my opinion, not so much the new directors. Betting on greed is usually a safe strategy and the market knows that. Now, for the first time since I bought in at 1.77 a few weeks before it fell completely out of bed, I feel like some day in the next 3 years I might actually see a profit.
