The implied reason seems to be that his short term incentives expired mid Covid with reneumeration disappearing through no fault of his own. No long term incentives are in place since.
Worth noting that he resigned then bought stock on market later.
Implication in my opinion is he thinks the growth is still there but personally can earn a higher salary elsewhere.
