To be clear, I have no special insight into this - mainly a lot of guessing from what I've read from publicly disclosed sources. If you are interested to dig a little further (I had done my due diligence on this before buying this stock) I would look at customers limited market disclosures c2007-2009. Perhaps @Ivanovich may be able to describe in detail what happened there (or you can trawl through his posts from that time on hotcopper's advanced search). Unfortunately this particular platform didn't index market announcements at that time so reading the annual reports at the time from a now unlisted company is a bit more challenging (especially for what is really a curiosity).
