You can't say this is 100% a sure thing after reading the Tolukuma ML news. I'm just being realistic. Normally the renewal would be a formality. It should be this time as well, but we are living in not so normal times with Co vid, the cost to PNG economy and you have to factor in at least a little sovereign risk dealing in PNG. The board has no choice but to proceed with business as usual and correctly assume that the lease will be renewed. Some old holders still remember that FNT has been stung before with Kodu with applications for land use in PNG.
