The Queensland route of Inland Rail has yet to be finalised, including in the Toowoomba area and the vexed question as to whether the standard gauge line will extend from the Acacia Ridge freight terminal in Brisbane to the Port of Brisbane (Fisherman Islands).
It'll surprise if IR is completed on time. Like most transport infrastructure in Oz these days, it has also blown out in cost.
