I beg to disagree with those lavishing praise on the BOD. I don't care what anyone says about the work they've done to bring up the SP from what it was.The strong foundation was laid earlier by previous management. And the resource was there already anyway. They didn't put that in the ground.
All they did was do what was expected of them - and they got paid for it. Yes, it was expected that the takeover was coming, but they didn't have to sell us down the river like that. They could have gotten a better and fairer deal for us. By virtue of their position, their words mean a lot to the SH's, and that's why some some of our fellow holders folded.
It's the way events unfolded - the initial strong and well-reasoned rejection & then the sudden capitulation for no meaningful improvement in offer at all. It almost seems as if they were offered some side-deals / incentives on the side for them to do what they did.
No respect from me at all.
