that’s a very alarmist interpretation of a pretty benign announcement.

they’ve just reshuffled the board to get rid of a very technically focused director and onboard a new director who’s much more focused on distributions and operations and has very relevant experience for the next phase of the business. It’s important that the board brings the right skillset for the maturity of the business. It’s completely normal that an early stage explorer would have directors who are very technical and less commercial. it’s also completely normal to reshuffle the board to bring in more commercial and financial acumen when you move towards production.

None of what was announced today throws up any red flags or suggests the exit was unexpected.
