yeah john , he seems to have been around and got very good "skills mix" so let's hope they let him be hands on involved.
I spoke to my old nth Q mate , he said he'd met or known of them (DEG directors) years ago near Port Headland WA and remembers that they were 'a bit' useless in mining matters and also couldn't or wouldn't close deals etc.
He has been on/around Apex ground between Dugald & Corella rivers with previous owner ( old timer now deceased ) and can't tell anything from (looking at) surface ground but that doesn't mean anything when you need to go deep under.
He said DEG got just as good a chance as anyone in that area north of Cloncurry and that QMN's directors are even more useless than DEG's and to "don't go there".
I think almost all old timer prospectors believe Accountants/lawyers are scoundrels and should be shot :)
He also knows a bloke from oroplata/andean days so i asked him to ask next time they meet if that bloke heard anything about DEG further south of there but i've got feeling that the other guy will probably be diplomatic and say something like " it's all good in Patagonia ".
