Appointment of New Non-Executive Director
The Bankers Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr
David Wild as a non executive director to the Board with effect from the
Board Meeting immediately prior to the
Annual General Meeting on 26 February 2014, when he will be seeking
appointment by
shareholders.
Mr Richard Killingbeck, Chairman of The Bankers Investment Trust PLC, said
"the Directors and I are delighted that David has agreed to join us bringing
to the Board his valuable commercial experience from his extensive career in
the retail business. He was formerly Chief Executive at Halfords Plc and was
also President of the German division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. He is
currently the Senior Independent Director for Premier Foods plc and a
non-executive director of Domino's Pizza plc."
In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules, it is
confirmed that there are no additional details to be disclosed in relation to
Mr Wild.
