Fair points, but notwithstanding the oil price, you need to have a look at what has happened to the Canadian oil stocks in the past months when the share buy back has been taking place.
Unfortunately, we missed out on the upswing (b/c we were still ramping up) but have endured the downswing.
And I think the main rationale for the CR (to reduce debt and hedging) has paid off. But sure, you can argue it wasn't done in the most transparent manner.
So long as Glenn and others are stumping up their hard-earned, I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding the pace of the share buyback, after all, although the money should be rolling in, they still need to put aside cash for the dividend payment, fund ongoing exploration, maintain work capital buffer, and hopefully put some money aside to progress Montney too.

And if Glenn doesn't know the true state of the business, none of us do.
