FONTERRA APPOINTS DIRECTOR TO FSF MANAGEMENT COMPANY BOARD
Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited has today announced that it has appointed
one of its directors, Ian Farrelly, to the Board of FSF Management Company
Limited, the manager of the Fonterra Shareholders' Fund with effect from the
close of the Fonterra Shareholders' Fund Annual Meeting on 27 November 2015.
Mr Farrelly replaces Sir Ralph Norris, who will be retiring from the FSF
Management Company Limited Board on 27 November 2015, following the
announcement of his retirement as a director of Fonterra.
Ian Farrelly was elected to the Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited Board in
2007 and serves on the People, Culture and Safety Committee, the Risk
Committee and the Audit and Finance Committee. Ian had a 20-year career in
the banking industry including 15 years as head of ASB's Rural Division. Ian
is also a Director of First Mortgage Managers Limited, Spectrum Dairies
Limited, Fortuna Group Limited and is an Advisor to Waikato Stud. He owns and
runs a 400-hectare 10,000 animal calf rearing farm in Te Awamutu, and has
ownership interests in dairy farms in Canterbury and the Waikato.
