This escrow arrangement doesn't change anything. If anything it is a smoke screen. Ross and Co are making it look like they are taking notice, but they really are not.
Do not be misled, vote No!
They have had 5 years to prepare for the execution of these options, of which the last 2 years has had these options in the money. The last 12 months has these options well and truly in the money (more than 100% covered) that this should have made self-financing a breeze.
