DIRECTOR: MEL: New Meridian Energy Limited Director announced
For immediate release: 9 November 2012
State Owned Enterprises Minister, Hon. Tony Ryall, yesterday evening
announced that Jan Dawson will join the Meridian Energy Board, effective 1
November 2012.
Of all the new SOE board appointments announced, Mr Ryall said, "We are
introducing highly skilled directors into the portfolio, as well as providing
continuity of existing expertise".
Jan Dawson is former Chairman and Chief Executive of KPMG New Zealand, and is
currently a director of Westpac New Zealand Limited, Air New Zealand Limited
and Goodman Fielder.
Meridian Chairman Chris Moller welcomes Jan to the Board.
