Change to Board of Directors
MAINFREIGHT LIMITED
Mainfreight advises that it has received the resignation of Emmet Hobbs as a
director to take effect at the end of 2013.
Emmet Hobbs has served as a director of Mainfreight for more than ten years,
and in that time has seen the company triple in size in terms of revenue and
team numbers, and extend its operations into Southeast Asia, South America,
Canada and Europe. "I will always be a strong advocate of Mainfreight, and
will watch with interest as they continue their wonderful journey," said Mr
Hobbs.
Mainfreight's Chairman, Bruce Plested, considers Mr Hobbs to have been the
perfect director. "Emmet has a deep knowledge of Mainfreight, its culture
and beliefs, and has always demonstrated the highest regard for our people.
He has held many senior positions internationally in his professional career,
and his knowledge and experience of working overseas has proved extremely
helpful as we have grown our business around the world".
Mainfreight retains a Board of six Directors and will not seek to expand this
number in the near term.
