DIRECTOR: MPG: Michael Alscher to replace Neville Buch on Board
Metro Performance Glass (NZX.MPG) today announced the resignation of Neville
Buch from its Board and the appointment of Michael Alscher to fill the
vacancy. The changes are effective 31 March 2015.
Mr Buch and Mr Alscher are respectively Partner and Managing Partner of
leading private equity firm Crescent Capital Partners, which has extensive
investments in high growth companies in Australia and New Zealand in sectors
ranging from building products to healthcare and financial services. Mr Buch
is retiring from the Board of Metro Performance Glass due to other business
commitments.
Metro Performance Glass Chairman Sir John Goulter said: "The Board thanks
Neville for his contribution to Metro Performance Glass both as a Director of
the listed company and as Chairman of the company prior to listing. We are
fortunate to be able to replace Neville with a director of Michael's calibre.
We look forward to working with him."
Mr Alscher has sat on many public company boards both as Chairman and as a
Non-Executive Director. Prior to founding Crescent, Michael was a management
consultant at Bain International and L.E.K.
He is a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed life insurer, ClearView Limited
and travel insurer Cover More Group Limited. He also serves as the
Non-Executive Chair of National Dental Care and is a Non-Executive Director
of GroundProbe, Crumpler and Breezway Louvre Windows. He holds a Bachelor of
Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales.
