there may have been an alluvial plant, 50 years ago - but that disappeared a long time ago. the reality, is that an alluvial plant, is not much - nothing more than a sluice, water, a trommel and a front end loader.

there used to be an alluvial operation, on the south side, of the main road - donkey years ago

in the prospectus, the use of funds, showed that $500,000 would be used to purchase an alluvial operation

and this is a pic of an alluvial operation

from memory, there was nothing in the prospectus, which gave any indication of what the alluvial operation was producing .

on the mxr thread (and a bit on the ero thread) watso has mentioned the folly of a public company getting involved in an alluvial operations. once a company (particularly a public company) is involved, then every employee hour, has to be paid for (with associated entitlements, insurance , pay roll tax etc etc) . "profit" for the public shareholder, is after all of those costs are paid for.

an owner operator, might be willing to work heaps of hours (and to take short cuts) , just to make a good living - but that all changes, when a public company is involved .

sadly, there is no hope for this company. on the one hand, there are people who know how to spend money (and collect director fees) .. then there are some sex industry experts, who are worried about their investment (this is the "wild west") - and the proposed saviours, are offering the hope of a few dollars from an alluvial operation - which will never happen
