DIRECTOR: NWF: Appointment of Director

The Board of NZ Windfarms Limited has appointed Stuart Bauld as a director
effective from 15 February 2016.

Stuart Bauld is a Chartered Accountant and a retired partner of PwC and is
presently a self-employed consultant providing services to private clients,
principally related to governance, financial structures and general
investment matters.  He has extensive experience in audit and corporate
finance, and has governance experience in both private and charitable
organisations.

In accordance with the Company's constitution, this appointment runs until
the next Annual General Meeting when he must retire and seek re-election by
the shareholders.

The Board has determined that Mr Bauld will be an independent director of NZ
Windfarms Limited.
