New Zealand Oil & Gas acknowledges Tony Radford's contribution
New Zealand Oil & Gas Chairman Peter Griffiths has acknowledged the
contribution of Tony Radford to the New Zealand petroleum industry.
Mr Radford will be leaving the New Zealand Oil & Gas Board following the
outcome of the company's Annual Meeting today.
Mr Radford was a founder of the company, its chief executive for many years
and chairman until last year, when he stepped down.
"Tony started New Zealand Oil & Gas with a vision for a New Zealand company
exploring for and producing the country's own resources. During his long
service the company was involved in some significant discoveries, including
Kupe and Tui, which continue to produce returns.
"He has made a lasting contribution to New Zealand, to our industry and to
our company" Mr Griffiths said.
