NZO 12/09/2012 10:34 DIRECTOR REL: 1034 HRS New Zealand Oil and Gas Limited DIRECTOR: NZO: Resignation of Chairman Tony Radford has today announced that he will resign as Chairman of the Board of NZOG (New Zealand Oil & Gas Limited) immediately after the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday 30 October 2012. Tony will continue as a director of the company. Tony was a founding director of NZOG in 1981 and his leadership has been instrumental in the growth of the company since this time. The Board would like to thank Tony for the guidance he has provided the company over a period of significant change which has resulted in NZOG becoming a significant exploration and production company in New Zealand. The Board today voted to appoint Peter Griffiths as NZOG's new Chairman, his appointment to take effect upon Tony's resignation. Peter Griffiths joined the Board of NZOG in December 2009, having retired after 21 years with BP, the last 10 years of which he was Managing Director of BP NZ. Peter was previously involved in offshore oil and gas field operations in Australasia, Malaysia and the UK. He has served on the boards of New Zealand Refining Company, Liquigas and Bitumix and is currently a director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Northland Port Corporation, Wanganui Gas, New Zealand Diving and Salvage and Greenstone Energy.
