Sorry was doing it from my phone, and the interface was pretty rubbish.
My pont was not dissimilar to yours - effectively that it doesn't look like much of a loss re the legal guy - he was just riding shotgun anyway and they were duplicating the functionality as you have said.
I don't know what the implications of a Non Exec Director leaving so suddenly are. I didn't dig into old mate any further.
