Just saying $5K is not a big show of confidence from a company director who has full visibility of the project progress and its potential. And the fact that it implies no near news flow that might be price sensitive so puts off others buying just now. A much better approach would be a coordinated on-market buy of scale from all directors - that would show intent and confidence.
