PGC director resigns

Pyne Gould Corporation Limited ("PGC") today announced that Gregory Bright is
resigning as an independent director due to serious ill health. Mr Bright
advised PGC that as a consequence of his ill health he is resigning from all
his non executive commitments.  His resignation takes effect on 31 October
2014.

PGC Chairman Bryan Mogridge thanked Mr Bright, who is based in Sydney, for
his service as a director and wished him well for a full recovery.

PGC will consider candidates before appointing a replacement independent
director.
