PGG Wrightson Director Independence
Following the recently announced changes to the PGG Wrightson Board, the
following determinations have been made in relation to director independence
for the purposes of the NZX Listing Rules:
Sir John Anderson, Bruce Irvine and Doctor Zhi-Kang Li are independent
directors.
Guanglin (Alan) Lai and Wah-Kwong Tsang are not independent by virtue of
their association with a substantial security holder, Agria (Singapore) PTE
Ltd. George Gould is not independent by virtue of being an executive
director.
Sir John Anderson has joined the Audit Committee and a review of the
composition and expertise of the PGG Wrightson Board is continuing as
previously announced.
