DIRECTOR: POT: Appointment of Alastair Lawrence as Director

The Chairman of the Port of Tauranga, David Pilkington, today announced the
appointment of a new Director. Alastair Lawrence will be appointed an
Independent Director with effect from 1 February 2014.

Alastair is a founder and long standing Director of Antipodes Consult
Limited, a boutique investment banking firm, specialising in advisory and
mergers and acquisitions.  Alastair was previously Managing Director of
Southpac.

David Pilkington said "We are extremely pleased to welcome Alastair to the
Board and believe his knowledge in banking and mergers and acquisitions will
add strength to our Board.
