I agree that executive directors should not receive a directors' fee on top of their salary. All the executive service agreements I have been involved with indicate that the remuneration package is inclusive of everything.
That said, $180k is probably the minimum that is required to employ a competent CFO. Given the challenges that this business is facing, a good CFO is going to be critical if they're going to have any chance of surviving.
